Open Question: Has anyone ever camped outside of Nederland near the Rainbow Lakes in Colorado?

I am planning a camping trip and looking for a place that I can car camp, or have a short hike in, that will not be too crowded-- and not need to be reserved. Please let me know if you have been to Rainbow Lakes, or have another spot that you think would work. Thank you so much!
