Open Question: Where to go camping in Maryland?

I am planning a camping trip with a few friends. we live in maryland and want to go camping (not in a campground) but in the middle of the forrest. Does anyone know where to go that is in/near Maryland that is a good spot with rivers for fishing and that is not a campground?
