Resolved Question: Camping in the semi-desert question?

I need to be in a semi-desertic place for some days, and I'm looking for something to live in that will stand rain and wind, and be private at the same time, cause other people will be nearby. I was thinking a camping tent inside a canopy with screen. My budget is not really big, so I'm looking for good options.
