New Park: Lakeport RV Resort Moore Haven, FL

Lakeport RV Resort is now a participating Passport America Discount Campground. Highlights: Located back off the main highway (road noise is at a minimum) and on the rim canal of Lake Okeechobee - there is plenty of fishing and boating. 86 total RV sites, can accom odate RV's up to 40ft., 20/30/50-amp, full hookups, dump station, back-in sites, tent sites, Wi-Fi, restrooms and showers, handicap accessible, laundry facilities, clubhouse, and fishing. During season there is a craft/quilting club that meets in the clubhouse. Also, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, we provide the meat you may bring a dish to pass. Jan, Feb, and March - free pancake breakfast you may also bring a dish to pass if you wish. Area Attractions: Bird watching is very popular in the area. Only 9 miles from the Brighton Seminole Casino for gaming and dinner. There are 5 restaurants and 2 convenience stores in Lakeport and more stores in Moore Haven, Okeechobee and Clewiston. The Gulf of Mexico is just 1 1/2 hours. Disney is bout 3 hours away.
